1st heat of the night, Joshua Moffitt, in the #53 VanderHaags Inc car, starts on the front row and leads to the finish. The 5j car (the blue one) is a lapped car, 2nd pace is the 5 car of Katelyn Smith. As the night unfolds, Joshua eventaully finishes 2nd to Katelyn. All in all a VERY good night of racing. Enjoy.

Joshua Moffitt,age 8 takes his 1st Dirt Bike ride. Bike is a 36 volt 50 amp rechargeable Razor MX500 Dirt Rocket. Josh is riding it in Grandma and Grandpa's back yard. This thing would make a great pit vehicle.
This is the 1st race at English Creek Speedway in Knoxville Ia for 2008. Since our class usually opens the show, We were in teh 1st heat race. Due to drawing a high number to start, Joshua had to start in the rear of the field. Car count was a little low, but the action was good !

7-8-2007 Restricted Box Stock Feature... the VanderHaags # 53 car of Joshua Moffitt makes a strong run and finishes a respectable 2nd to Colton Roorda of Sully Ia ... its important to remember these kids are ages 5-8 in these races !
