Joshua Moffitt Racing is a Grandfather/Grandson Outlaw Dirt Kart race team, owned by Grandfather and Grandmother, Mark and Cindy McGrew, and Driven by Joshua Moffitt, to be age 8 for the 2008 race season. The Joshua Moffitt Racing team members have been long time racing fans with many interests and experiences in racing. We are actively seeking individuals or companies who are interested in an opportunity to be an advertising partner for the current season and beyond. Through exposure and visibility you can take advantage of the most cost effective advertising available today.
Our program will provide excellent visibility for your company name and/or logo. These Outlaw Dirt Karts are comparatively new in this area, and share a resemblance to their larger brothers, Sprint Cars. These cars are driven by racers of all ages, from 5 years to 67 and beyond. Our race car is carried primarily on an open trailer, and that maximizes visibility. People from all walks of life are attracted to the car, and The team takes time to answer all questions. Again, with your company's name on the car, interested people WILL notice. Add to that the "Youth Element" and people remember their meeting with the car and driver, and the people that help support it.
why an Outlaw Dirt Kart ?
These karts are currently providing the fastest growth in racing in this area. They provide a safer, faster, more exciting alternative to racing Go Karts. Actually quite different from "karts", they provide fast paced excitement for participants and spectators alike. Raced by young people (5-8) with methanol burning modified Briggs and Stratton engines, all the way up to 100+ hp 2 cycle racing engines on a 430 lb race car for racers age 15 and up. This provides a power to weight ratio in the ballpark of a Late Model or a Nextel Cup race car on a more affordable budget. This is leading to rapid growth. Right now, we have tracks that have raced 30 + years that are adding these cars to their program to add participants and spectators.

exposure at at least TWO race tracks featuring these cars

exposure at several "show and shine" functions throughout the racing season. The team will be on hand to answer questions and increase exposure
exposure at the Outlaw Dirt Kart Nationals, attended by over a thousand spectators, held the same week as the famous Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals
First choice of partnership renewal next year.
Your partnership dollars will help with these expenses:
tires, the team will use approximately 3-4 sets of tires/ wheels this year, at roughly 100.00 per tire/wheel combination
engines, modified Briggs and Stratton engines, average 2 rebuilds per season at approximately 650.00 per rebuild
engine / kart maintenance - basic maintenance averages 20.00 per week
fuel, methanol for the race car, gasoline for the tow vehicle and power generator at approx 30.00 per week
entry fees and pit admission at 55.00 per week
Racing is a fast growing form of advertising, and has proven to be effective. Race fans like to spend their dollars with the people that support the hobby. This is YOUR opportunity to get in on a grass roots racing effort, and hopefully enjoy the rewards, and follow us as young Joshua advances through the "ranks" of Auto Racing. At this point, his ultimate goal in life is to become a World of Outlaws driver as his ultimate career.

1st year of racing at age 6 - Go Karts at Jamaica Raceway, Jamaica Iowa
1 feature win during the 1st year, and 2 heat race wins
excellent sportsmanship skills
raced the full schedule, was present all race days
SEVERAL trophies were awarded to Joshua
2nd year - English Creek Speedway Age 7
present and racing at all 17 weekly races plus two at Newton Kart Klub in Newton Ia,
finished 4th in points at English Creek Speedway
received Trophies, Accomplishment medals, or award plaques weekly
Received "Most Improved Driver" award at his home track - English Creek Speedway
Raced at the Casey's General Store Outlaw Kart Nationals, held at English Creek Speedway, near Knoxville Iowa

raced to an impressive 6th in the A MAIN at the Nationals, after a 16th place restart
Finished 3rd in the inaugural Outlaw Dirt Kart event at Newton Kart Klub, Newton Ia
became friends with several of his fellow racers and is a respected member of the racing "family"
In addition, Joshua is enrolled in the TAG (Talented and Gifted) classes at his school, "Stowe at McKee" in Des Moines, Iowa and is an excellent student, liked and respected by faculty and fellow students.
NOTE: This year our car and our trailer are undergoing some revisions. The kart will retain a similar appearance, but the trailer will be dramatically changed in order to improve its appearance to the public. We realize that this is a needed change, and it is currently under reconstruction.

$400.00 - yours is the only name / logo on a wing side. 3 of these are available. Or we can provide your name and 1 other on a wing side for $200 each. The wing sides provide the most visibility.
100.00 - your name on the hood area of the race car. there will be 2 of these available.
We also welcome suggestions for your company's' products and services to be used by our team. Let us know what works for you.
We ask that logos are single-color, the graphics shop we use will try to highlight them as much as possible.
We will do our best to ensure that competing businesses do not wind up on the car together, so it is in your interest to act swiftly.
